Bossy

Has anyone ever suggested that you are bossy? Did you ever hear kids/adults refer to other young children as being bossy?

Do we ever consider the fact that it is a good quality to posses? Probably not!

Let’s imagine for a while that we can do whatever, say whatever, be whatever we believe we are……if you ever look at this from this perspective the would it change how you would look at the next person you encounter as a bossy, now it all person?

In this era of life I in my boss status.

Many people are beginning to realize how much power they possess while being their own boss. It only took this century to realize how we can do what we can do. Think about our ancestors and how savvy they were with life and achieving what they needed to.

I am unapologetically in my BOSS era! The level of figuring out what I want to do in life is real. I have a whole ass degree and I want to use it but at the same time I feel that humanity is so broke that I just want to elevate to a level of my own. The world is so mean now and rough so why not do something that will bring me joy.

My generation (1988-2007) were told to go to college and focus on what we wanted to be when we grew up. We should know by the end of high school what we want to do in life. Get married, buy a house, have children and live life the way our elders pushed onto us. While I think that concept worked and was a great way to get youth to consider the future it did not help the kids that felt overwhelmed by choosing what their life needs to be about before they have been given the chance to live life and become their own person with their own perspectives.

Now we have a generation of Millennials that are having a midlife crisis with their careers. We are now burnt out from all of the climbing the corporate later, raising a family, trying to maintain a household all while trying to keep our sanity in this tech world we now live in that we are now considering what else life can offer. We realize that our life may not be fulfilling and we want to seek being in our bossy era.

So if you see us mid 30 year olds trying to figure out a new career, crying and cussing you know we are just trying to handle our new found independence of doing whatever the fuck we want when we want on our own terms. Cheers to the best generation handling their bossy ego era.
